SRC Data Reveal Slowdown
Figures published by the Scottish Retail Consortium and KPMG reveal a slowdown in high street sales.

Like-for-like sales n June were 1.1% lower than in June 2009 when they had risen 2.2%. Total sales in June were 1.7% up on a year ago, when they had increased 6.6%. Spending on non-food items dropped by 2.1%.
